Casa Aura - Modern & Homely, enchanted by History

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is simply perfect: right in the heart of Rethymno's old town, which put us at the center of everything. All the main sights, tavernas, and shops are just a short stroll away, and it was wonderfully convenient having parking relatively close by, which made arriving and getting around effortless. The building itself is a clean, beautifully renovated historical property, full of character and charm while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. On top of that, there was a great range of services available that made the whole experience smooth and easy from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore Rethymno and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

Location is a perfect 10/10, but do note that as a historical building, the apartment is only reachable by stairs, so guests with limited mobility may find access difficult. There's a bit of an unpleasant smell in the stairwell, but you won't notice it at all once you're inside the apartment.
