Swan Lodge

Our trip to the swan lodge was everything we could’ve wanted from a stay at the seaside. The hosts are lovely and so welcoming. They adapted breakfast to our vegetarian needs and were always up for a chat or giving us recommendations for the area. Our room was stunning and felt like out of a storybook. The steamtrain passes directly by the garden but it doesn’t go at night so it was lovely and quiet.

Great B&B, great host & brilliant room

This gorgeous B&B right in the heart of Swanage is a real gem of a place. Immaculately clean, beautifully presented and with welcoming and attentive hosts. We stayed in the art deco room, the bed was very comfortable with a window that looked out onto the garden. it was so peaceful. Breakfast was exceptional! With the added bonus of the option of enjoying it in the lovely garden. And even more special, the train track that runs at the foot of the garden on which the Swanage Railway steam train runs. It was 2 minutes from the station and everything else reachable with a short walk, we will definitely be back. We did try and extend our stay because we enjoyed it so much, however we weren’t able to as it was fully booked. That’s how much we loved it!

Nothing to dislike!

Hosts were very friendly extremely helpful and informative. Rooms were of a very high standard in cleanliness and decor. Sharing a bathroom was never an issue. Breakfast very good so much choice for the cooked breakfast with homemade toasted bread also mixed berries, cereal and homemade Jams were available. 10 min walk to the beach after watching the steam train pass by at the bottom of the garden.
