The living area and bathroom are very nice. Kitchen is a bit outdated but functional. Accommodation was very clean. Quite a walk to the train station and the city center, but we knew that upfront. The location is highly convenient for visiting Zermatt and the Aletsch Glacier, with some supermarkets close by.

This accommodation is listed explicitly with a garden. The other accommodations in the same building are not listed like that. It was therefore our expectation that the garden would be for private use and it would look like advertised in the pictures. However, it turned out that the garden was badly maintained (did not look nice as in the pictures), and it was not private. It was not fenced so other guests can and did walk through it. There is no privacy because other guests can look into the room through the garden door. We deliberately booked this accommodation for multiple days as a hub for various day trips expecting some nice private garden time as well. We enjoyed our stay way less than we were expecting based on the description and pictures.
