I am a foreigner and just arrived to Argentina. The location made it easy to access government offices, groceries, and other necessities both for my cat and me. The apartment is cozy and comfortable, I could fall asleep right away to recharge from the time zone change and the long flight. Nico and Yael provided us with a litter box for my cat. It made me emotional because no other host has ever been this kind to my pet. I was lucky to be there during the last bit of the World Cup, so I watched comfortably from the apartment and was able to join the celebration in the street afterward. The celebrations were loud and could be heard, but my cat was able to settle down after a bit and still fall asleep; from experience, if the noise was truly horrid, my cat would have hidden and be shaking. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs, but otherwise you'll probably be cozy and alright. Wifi worked great. I was able to do laundry in unit. The inner patio was comfortable and a nice place to relax with a morning coffee. The neighbors and building manager were nice and said hello. There is an elevator, which is a godsend when moving luggage. The environment inside and outside the building felt safe, even at night, for me as a dude. There is a police station I think about 3-4 blocks from the property, so it was common to see police patrolling around the area. It was very easy to access different chain or mom and pops grocery stores. It was very easy as well to cook at the property, they provide a full kitchen with pans, utensils, mixing bowls, chop boards, etc. Thanks to that I could cook comfortably at the property instead of constantly eating out. I stayed 20 days straight. If there was any issue, Nico was available right away and responded quickly. I had a hiccup at the airport and wasn't going to make it to grab the keys on time; Nico stayed in touch and worked it out for me to still get the keys, which was very kind of him and Yael.

[The following is not criticism of the property, they are to share with other foreigners some hiccups I have had arriving to Argentina, so they may avoid them] The local tax is 21%. I misunderstood the Booking.com message and thought foreigners didn't get charged that tax, but I was wrong and my reservation did have a 21% surcharge. In general it was difficult as a foreigner to find accommodationin CABA, pay for it, and get oriented. The local SIM card required me a national identification number, which as a foreigner I don't have, so I had to rely on an app (Saily, Holafly, etc.) instead and use only data. The transfer app also requires national ID, so I was unable to make an account and pay with transfer at all. A lot of places don't use credit cards, only cash or transfer, and maybe a debit card. My debit card kept running as if it was a credit card, which was not fun. If the location accepts credit card, there is a surcharge between 10-15%, much higher than in the US or Colombia (where I visited recently). The ATMs in general do not like to provide cash from my foreign debit cards, tried both a Mastercard and a Discover in multiple banks. If the ATM allows you to withdraw cash, there's a fee of ARG$17K, while only allowing you to withdraw ARG$30K to ARG$60K, depending on the bank; this is not much cash at all in the grand scheme of things, ARG$30K can easily be 1 dinner in the affluent zones. If you plan to travel to Argentina from abroad, prepare with USD$ cash as much as possible. The exchange houses also work on cash too, even at the airport. Another option is to wire cash to yourself through Western Union; I tried two different WU, and both said they don't have daily limits, which is a lot more flexible than the ATMs. CABA is beautiful and I'm glad to visit, but it is a little bit challenging for a foreigner to navigate daily money transactions...
