vista incredibile e casa molto arieggiata. infissi nuovi che permettono di passare una serata tra amici senza che o vicini sentano troppo casino

la casa è molto vecchia e senza aria condizionata. roberto (il ragazzo che fa da tramite tra ospiti e proprietario) è stato gentile e disponibile, ma complessivamente poco serio: il giorno del check out si è quasi dimenticato di darci istruzioni e non abbiamo mai avuto indicazioni su come smaltire la spazzatura. col senno di poi avrei potuto chiedere, ma sinceramente essendo in vacanza la gestione della monnezza non è stata la mia priorità ecco. abbiamo lasciato la casa un po' in disordine e non abbiamo pulito le stoviglie della colazione, detto questo l'appartamento ci è sembrato in condizioni dignitose. nonostante ciò, abbiamo ricevuto un messaggio da roberto in cui ci spiegava che l'impresa di pulizie era rimasta scioccata dalle condizioni della casa. si riferivano principalmente alla spazzatura e io e la mia amica ci siamo subito rese disponibili per dare una mano a portare giù i sacchi. arrivate lì abbiamo trovato fin da subito una forte ostilità da parte della responsabile delle pulizie, nonostante sapesse perfettamente che in casa non erano presenti né istruzioni per lo smaltimento della spazzatura, né la tessera necessaria per accedere all'isola ecologica. detto questo, noi eravamo due ragazze con trolley e zaino senza macchina che dovevano arrivare in stazione a imperia entro un'ora, e le persone coinvolte lo sapevano. fatto sta che abbiamo portato giù i maledetti sacchi, che si sono pure rotti e non erano divisi in modo corretto (io mi sono personalmente premurata di controllare che i sacchetti fossero correttamente differenziati prima del check out). alla fine il treno l'abbiamo perso e abbiamo dovuto pagare una maggiorazione sul biglietto per prendere quello dopo e non perdere la coincidenza a genova.

This apartment itself is an absolute gem. It’s spacious and full of vintage charm, beautifully furnished with authentic vintage furniture from elderly previous owners. You can really feel the history of the home with personal photos and it’s unlike the typical modern rental. Located at the top of the historic hilltop village, the apartment offers what is undoubtedly its greatest feature: the VIEW. From the top floor (stairs, no elevators btw) you’ll enjoy a breathtaking 180-degree panoramic view of the sea. It was one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever experienced in our many travels.

The only reason why I can’t give this a 10/10 score is because of the host, who has proven himself to be dishonest and sneaky for multiple reasons. 1. The ad clearly states that there is air conditioning. There isn’t. There wasn’t even a fan. When I messaged the host about it, he said, “Sorry, it broke last night” (how convenient). Either way, a ventilator and air conditioning are not the same thing. We stayed during a heatwave, and we absolutely cooked inside the apartment all night, even with all the windows open. Nobody was able to sleep that night. When I mentioned this to the host on WhatsApp, he simply left me on read. The next day 2 women came in slightly before checkout time and spread themselves everywhere in the apartment on the floor to assemble two ventilators while we were still inside and giving us angry looks being eager for us to leave already. No one spoke English but a look is worth a thousand words. 2. The beds are so hard that my limbs would go numb. It was like trying to sleep on a concrete floor. 3. Most shocking of all, the host wants to CHARGE you EXTRA for using the towels and bed sheets, claiming that they are rented from an outside company? Like, what?! I have traveled to over 40 countries in my life and stayed in hundreds of places, but I have never, ever heard of such a thing. 4. There is no parking. There technically is, in the front but you’re not allowed to park there. The host makes you park very far away on the lower streets, (IF you can find) which means you then have to walk all the way back up the hill through streets and stairs and even for fit people like us, that was quite the hike. This is something that should be clearly mentioned in the listing. 5. The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, which is not a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of nearby parking and the uphill access, it makes arriving and leaving much more difficult than expected. 6.

Amazing views and great location in the square of the old town. An old apartment but that can be part of the charm if you ask me.

No air conditioning, although listed as available. No parking, although also listed as included. Bed sheets and towels are provided at an added fee, which is not shown/priced beforehand. When challenged the owner absorbed the city fee and the one for bed sheets and towels. Bottom line is that we could barely sleep in the heat and the square was noisy almost all night, so opening windows didn’t help much. A ventilator was offered but never came.
