Chez Patou et Iris, F3 dans villa calme

We were a bit intimidated when we first got to the apartment, as it was dark and we didn't know where we going. Once we got our bearings the next day, it was fine. The apartment is indeed above a man who is in his 90s and has owned the house for 60 years. You will hardly see him, as the apartment is above the garage. It is about a 15 minute walk from the tram station Parc Expo and there's also a KFC and lovely Italian restaurant nearby. The tram takes about 8 or so stops to the main centre. The apartment is old but their family also stay there. The bed is comfortable and there's air con and fans in the bedroom. Thierry, the son, is very nice and there's good communication. But you will hardly see anyone and the apartment will be your own. There is a requirement to clean it to the standard that you found it when you leave.

We couldn't sit on the balcony as the chairs were broken. I also got eaten alive by mosquitoes but that's not the fault of the apartment! The shower head wouldn't stay up on it's own so had to hold it to shower.
