Le clos de Vence

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse des hôtes et les petites attentions laissées dans la chambre. Tout était très propre et soigné. Le cadre est magnifique, avec de beaux paysages : on s’y sent vraiment bien. Merci pour ce bel accueil !

We loved the location - far enough from the town and the main roads to be quiet, close enough to shops, restaurants and an ideal base for exploring the Riviera. The apartment is clean and nicely designed and decorated. The pool was a great bonus during a hot day. The host was responsive and helpful on Whatsapp.

The following items need work in our view, but we would still rate the overall experience 10/10 as we understand they are just getting started. It is also clear they aim to provide a 5-star service, so the below is meant to provide honest feedback that, if addressed, will allow the service to be top-notch -The apartment is quite small, and the available space could be used more efficiently. A coat hanger instead of a big fake plant, a small table with two chairs where the unnecessarily big TV is etc. -The equipment was just enough for two people to be able to cook and eat. There were only a couple of plates and one big bowl, but the host provided two smaller bowls upon request. No kettle for example. -The accommodation does not provide towel exchange, even for a 5-night stay. There is no washing machine available. This is such an easy fix (and could be charged extra) and would improve the comfort a lot. Upon request, we were reminded that this service is not available, but as an exception, they offered a fresh towel for 10 EUR. While we understand this is an apartment, not a hotel, this service is normally offered if there is no washing machine. -The pool is really beautiful and clean, but the same care is not applied to the surrounding furniture. Most of the sunbeds looked a bit sorry, and the swing chairs, etc. were full of cobwebs, clearly not maintained. -There was a lot of equipment lying around the garden (jet wash, lawnmower, cables etc). We understand the owners live at the property, but it detracts from the overall impression and is not something you want to look at every day of your vacation

Nous avons passé 4 jours au Clos de Vence et tout était parfait. Le logement est propre, bien décoré et aménage. Piscine et extérieurs très agréables. Les hôtes sont charmants, attentionnés et discrets. Emplacement de parking. Le logement se situe au calme dans une impasse, on se sent vraiment déconnecté. Et pourtant vous êtes proches de tout si vous vous visiter et explorer la région. Je recommande à 200 %.

Alles was schoon, netjes, heerlijke zachtgeurende zepen, shampoo, voortreffelijk vers ontbijt met vijgen uit hun eigen tuin, de goede zorgen van de gastheren, fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen, de mooie rustige omgeving én lekkere bedden! :)

We waren een van de eerste gasten via Booking.com en daar was het een en ander mis gelopen in de communicatie. Hoe dan ook hebben de gastheren het goed opgelost.
