Coastal Retreat 3 miles to Ft Walton 12 mil Destin

I like the convenience of the location and being close to the airport. The decor was nice. Having access to a washer and dryer was a plus. There were plenty of towels for everyone and dishes and pots and pans available to use.

The floor was not vacuumed in the bedrooms. There were crumbs all over the floor. The oven was dirty. The grass was not cut. There were bees in the backyard, so the kids could not play outside. Only one bedroom had a television. You could not watch the television in the bedroom and in the living room at the same time. Although there were pots and pans to use, there was food residue in them. This was my first time using booking.com so I was a little disappointed. I did mention the crumbs on the floor in the bedrooms and was basically called a liar. I never leave reviews, but I thought it was rude and very unprofessional. I mentioned the crumbs being all over the floor and the stains on the chairs in the living room, so the cleaning crew would be informed, not to put the property down in anyway. In return I received a disrespectful response. I had no intention of leaving a review, until I was called a liar.
