Rifugio Ibleo a Palazzolo Acreide

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu und alles sehr sauber. Dazu hat es auch eine Waschmaschine, die wir benutzen konnten. Ausstattung war sehr gut.

The flat is brand new, clean, very well maintained, and equipped with exceptional attention to detail. It is situated very close to the town centre, yet in a quiet area, with no active traffic under the windows. There were coffee pods, snacks and other essentials waiting for us that made our stay very pleasant. Parking was easy and free on a street nearby. The shower had great water pressure. Although it is highly subjective, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have come across (and not made of memory foam). It was easy to communicate with the host, who also prepared a welcome gift for us. So thoughtful and such a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Pino!

I wish we have stayed for longer. If you are bothered by mosquitoes (there were very few at the time we were there) you might want to consider bringing an electric mosquito plug-in with you as there are no mosquito meshes on the windows.

We stayed for one night but would have been happy to be based at Rifugio Ibleo for longer. It’s quiet, generously equipped and cosy. Almost anything you can think of will be there, including a washing machine. It’s located in a quiet little courtyard away from busier streets but very close to the town centre. Parking is free on Via Roma, which is about a minute’s walk. It’s a little gem actually, and since we loved the town, we’ll be back.
