Not a great experience. The booking and check-in process is very complex and stressful dealing with the property management company. After booking and paying in full in advance, the property managers start with forms, rules and strict instructions for checking in. They required photo proof id sent ahead plus an online varification form requiring more information about us. After that comes the request for a cash bank deposit of $250 AU into a third party bank account as a damage bond. Hello I'm genius 3 never broke a glass in like 8 years. Not easy to deposit cash into account from outside Aussie. They refused to accept a visa card hold which is the normal procedure. Once in Aussie I deposited the cash into their account at a branch so I could get the key code. When we arrived you have to pick up the key, with the code from a small shop a block away. Not ideal with luggage at night. Support is only online. Very polite but inflexible. Then as I expected it took over a month and a complaint to booking.com to get our bond back. I have never had such a stressful booking experience before. I guess it might be easier if you have an Aussie bank account. Booking.com we're awesome once I got them involved.
