West End Studio Near English Bay & Stanley Park

The location of the property was excellent. Walking distance to Robson Street with many shops and restaurants as well as to the entrance to Stanley Park. Very convenient.

The room had dirty linens stashed in the entrance closet. The vacuum cleaner and the electric broom were left within the room. The murphy bed mattress was thin and soft. The layout of the room wasn't conducive to viewing the TV (although we never watched the TV). The unit was on the 1st floor (we originally booked a room on an upper floor but they double booked and moved us to this unit) and a sidewalk was a few feet away from the windows. The air conditioning worked fine but there was no control for the room if you wanted to change a setting. The manager/owner stated that there was free parking on the street. There is only permit parking on the street and we got a ticket. All in all, an adequate room because of the location but the room was substandard.
