FLH Residences, Ambawadi

The name FLH when expanded to Feels Like Home is warm and welcoming. All the sayings on the walls were thought provoking. Intellectuals will find FLH a great dwelling place Great location. Good amenities for an unstarred hotel. Excellent value for money. Very aesthetic living and dining environment. Friendly staff at the reception desk. Each floor was dedicated to some form of Art or Culture. Breakfast spread was modest but reasonably good. Tea was alright. The food comes from outside and FLH does not prepare it in house. Toiletries were adequate , linen and mattresses were clean .It had a nice kitchenette and a mini fridge. An oven was available in the common lobby.

Other staff seem to be from outskirts of Ahmedabad and inexperienced. Bathroom bulb socket was empty and it took 3 days of reminders to get it in place. Shower curtain is a must.A few problems remained unattended. The watchman and attendant outside the entrance remained passive when we brought our luggage over the steps. They could have helped keep it in the foyer or called the bell boy. Only instant coffee powder was available to be mixed with hot water. No milk powder. No chance of filter coffee It would be better if Gel, Shampoo and conditioners are kept in large bottles attached to the walls (lik Treebo) instead of small tubes.
