Urban Seattle 2BR with Free Parking Near Downtown & Capitol Hill with Transit Access - Walkable To Madison Park Beach & Arboretum

Had everything we needed. Plenty of towels was great! Beds comfy and clean. We loved how walkable it was to food and the park.

We walked into a lovely open main room, but we were instantly struck with a powerful vanilla scent from wall plugins in most rooms. We unplugged them but could never get the smell cleared out. We prefer no synthetic fragrances, and especially as strong as this was. Also my friend sat in the yellow porch chair and it broke and slightly splintered. She was glad it didn’t tear the dress she was wearing.

Great location, spacious apartment, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very accommodating, responsive, and easy to communicate with.

There was no air conditioning, which made the apartment uncomfortable during the day and sometimes evenings.

Very welcoming and comfortable. I felt at home and truly did not want to leave. The property managers who live above are so accommodating and understanding. We had a family crisis towards the end of our stay which cause us to check out later than anticipated, and the woman was so sweet about it. They were social, but not overbearing. They let us know they are friendly by mingling with us as roommates only on one or two occasions in passing, but it wasn’t too much that it felt encroaching or nosey/lacked privacy. It was lovely. Ps We were able to work on our dirt bikes in the back of the house (aka front of the rental entrance) and worried we’d be met with frustration, instead they extended curiosity, polite engagement and had very subtle yet present motivating tones. I can’t say enough good things about the people who own this property. They are god sends, and we appreciate you tremendously.

For the first half of our stay our stove did not work. For whatever reason it wouldn’t heat up at all, the stove nor the oven. I ended up having to cook a meal I bought on the side of a crockpot. We messaged about the issue but found no resolution until a friend came over a little over halfway through our stay (after lots of $ on take out/dine in food) and set to work on her phone with AI and somehow got it reset and working properly. I am a woman who loves to cook for her partner and feed guests, friends, family, whomever. So to be without a properly working stove for a little over half of the stay in a home which I was absolutely in love with every aspect of, it definitely kind of dimmed its shine for a moment. However these guys easily made up for it in other departments, and in the end the stove and oven issue was null and void.
