About this villa rental
On the wine-producing hills of Arsina, eight kilometers northwest of Lucca's walled center, La Rocca is a restored Tuscan farmhouse with five bedrooms, stone floors, and timber beam ceilings—renovated with restraint and a clear point of view. A 17-meter pool sits on a terrace above the house, and the view from the water is the kind that makes conversations stop. Lucca, with its markets, cathedral, and Roman amphitheatre, is 15 minutes by car.
Accommodating up to 12 guests, this private vacation home in Tuscany is ideal for family holidays, creative retreats, and stylish group getaways. With a 17-meter infinity saltwater pool overlooking olive groves and vineyards, it offers an immersive countryside experience.

The Neighborhood:
Arsina sits on the western arm of the Colline Lucchesi DOC territory, a compact, terraced wine zone that has been cultivated since the medieval period, producing Sangiovese-based reds and Vermentino whites.
The hamlet is 7.7 kilometers from Lucca's historic center and far enough above the plain to feel properly apart from it. In town, Buca di Sant'Antonio on Via della Cervia, a Michelin Guide restaurant operating since at least 1782, remains the benchmark for traditional Lucchese cooking, with handmade tordelli, slow-braised meats, and a wine list that gives the local DOC its due. The Versilian coast, with its long sandy beaches, is roughly 30 kilometers west. Florence is about 90 kilometers southeast.
Colline Lucchesi wine estates are within a short drive, and several offer direct tastings with the winemaker.
Getting Around:
A car is essential for enjoying the estate and exploring the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The villa includes private on-site parking, making day trips effortless.
The nearest airport is Pisa International Airport, located approximately 26 kilometers away, with Florence International Airport reachable in about an hour by car. From this location, guests can easily explore Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and the Versilia coast.
Other Things to Note:
The villa is fully air-conditioned and equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, making it suitable for remote work or creative residencies. Professional cleaning services are included, and additional housekeeping can be arranged upon request.
The best time to visit is from May through September for poolside living and long outdoor evenings, while late summer offers special programming connected to the Forci Art Foundation.
