Cabin in Georgia

About this cabin rental
This is Moon Lake.
Most cabins give you a view –
here, you get the experience.
Step outside and you’re in it – open space, your own stretch of shoreline, and room for kids to run while you slow down.
Mornings stretch.
Afternoons drift between kayaks, fishing, hammocks, and the porch.
Evenings end in the hot tub or around the fire, under a sky full of stars.
A place for families, couples, or friends to come together – and actually be together.
_______
And once you settle in… you’ll understand why so many guests say the same things:
“Peaceful.”
“Private.”
“Secluded.”
“Exactly what we needed.”
Not because it sounds good in a listing –
but because it’s what it actually feels like to be here.
Time just feels different here, in the very best way possible.
__________
If you do want to explore, Blue Ridge is about 18 minutes away – with hiking, tubing, restaurants, orchards, and everything else the mountains are known for.
But most guests end up saying,
“Let’s just stay here.”
__________
“We caught 7 fish… and spent the rest of the time just being together. Can’t wait to come back.”
“Secluded and private. Peaceful mornings watching deer… already planning our next trip.”
“So quiet. Just the sounds of nature.”
__________
Everything you need is here from the moment you arrive. The home has been thoughtfully updated with comfort, simplicity, and relaxation in mind.
What you’ll find here:
• Hot tub + firepit for slow nights (firewood ready to go)
• Kayaks + private fishing dock on Moon Lake (stocked for fishing and paddling—swimming is not advised)
• Fully stocked kitchen with oils, spices, coffee, hot chocolate + s’mores ready for your first day
• Smart TVs + strong WiFi when you want it… easy to ignore when you don’t
• Thoughtful, comfortable spaces that feel good to settle into
• Lockable porch so kids can play freely
• Hammocks, a tree swing, and plenty of spaces to sit, read, and watch the lake (daybed lounge anyone?!)
*****
The Space:
• 2 king bedrooms + 2 full bathrooms
• 3rd bedroom is a fun kids’ hideout with twin trundle (low/slanted ceiling – perfect for little ones)
• Lofted game room with TV + Pac-Man arcade (a go-to hangout for kids or late-night movies)
• Open living space with vaulted ceilings + cozy fireplace
• Wraparound deck for coffee, meals, and everything in between
• Washer + dryer for longer stays
• Thoughtful essentials provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the little things you don’t want to pack)
• Mountain roads are part of the adventure – fully paved, but narrow and winding. The driveway is short and a bit steep, with gravel and a turn as you head down. Most vehicles do just fine – just take it slow, and if possible, plan to arrive during daylight your first visit.
________
Peaceful.
Private.
Tucked away.
But still close to everything.
The kind of place you come for a weekend…
and start planning your return before you even leave.
Stay a little longer.
