About this apartment rental
It is high time you lived like an Athenian. An apartment next to the historic ruins is a perfect fit for a thrilling experience like that. Enjoy the convenience of apartment 1B.
The studio is located on the first floor in a well-preserved block of flats built in the 1930s. With a separate bedroom and a couch that can be turned into a bed for two, everyone will be more than satisfied with their sleep. A fully equipped kitchen awaits for you to prepare a treat and enjoy it on our small, but charming, patio. Let this bright and spacious place set the mood for the rest of your trip. Athens is calling!
Apart from welcoming the guests we don`t bother you with our presence any more until the day you leave, unless you need our assistance in any way. Before you leave make sure you don`t forget any personal belongings!
Feel free to read any of the books and do your best to leave things as you found them - more or less at least!

This minimal design open space is only a 2 min walk from Syntagma square and in walking distance to all major spots of interest of the city: Plaka, Monastiraki and Thission, the touristic old town, are a 10 min walk. Kolonaki, the chic part of the center with the high class shopping is only 5 min walk. Exarhia, the students’ and alternative crowd area is a 20 min walk. The building is situated in the so called “commercial triangle”, the old commerce area of Athens, marked by the three squares that define it: Syntagma, Monastiraki and Omonia square. Strolling around the area, you’ll find an enormous variety of specialized shops where one can buy from buttons and door locks to Locally Produced Cheese Shops and second hand clothes. Athens’ central Meat Market (Varvakios) is also near by, so as Ermou street, the major pedestrian shopping axis.
Along come the bars and cafes of the area, located in small streets or around squares, like the talk-of-the-town Saint Irene Square (2 min walk from the studio) as well as new alternative entries, hidden inside the many arcades of downtown Athens.
We will be happy to share our best tips with you on restaurants to trendy bars and any kind of shops and give you an insight to the city from a local’s point of view.
We’ll be also happy to provide you with tips about travelling all around the country.
The nearest metro station is in Syntagma square where you can pick line 2 and 3. However, you’ll probably enjoy walking to any spot of interest:
- Syntagma (Parliament) square / National Gardens - 2 min
- Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) - 10 min
- Aeropagitou pedestrian axis / Acropolis Museum - 10 min
- Plaka - 10 min
- Acropolis - 15 min
- Exarhia / National Archaeological Museum - 20 min
- Monastiraki - 3 min walk
If you enjoy jogging, the National Gardens are only a 2 min walk from the flat. Another alternative is the beautiful pedestrian axis of Aeropagitou, running along the Acropolis hill, 10 min walk from the studio.
If you wish to take a swim in the sea, you can use the tram from Syntagma Square and reach the seaside of Athens in about 45 min.
