About this apartment rental
Casa Borboleta is a thoughtfully designed 22-square-meter apartment in the charming city of Edessa, often called the “City of Water” for its iconic waterfalls, flowing rivers, and lush green parks. Created by a professional architect, this cozy and colorful space offers a welcoming retreat inspired by the lightness and beauty of a butterfly—“borboleta” in Portuguese.
Perfect for solo travelers or couples, the apartment combines comfort, style, and practicality, making it an ideal base whether you’re visiting for a short getaway or a longer, relaxed stay. The interior is carefully arranged to make the most of its compact size, offering a warm and uplifting atmosphere with all the essentials you need to feel at home.
The apartment features a comfortable sleeping area, a functional kitchenette, and a modern bathroom. Please note that the bathroom is a wet bath, meaning the shower and toilet share the same space—efficiently designed and common in compact, urban apartments.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, Casa Borboleta is just a 5–10 minute walk from the city center and only 5 minutes from the intercity bus station, making it easy to explore the area even without a car. Free parking is available right outside the apartment for added convenience. Within walking distance, you’ll find local cafés, restaurants, and shops, allowing you to experience the everyday rhythm of the city.
Edessa offers a unique blend of nature and culture. From the famous waterfalls and scenic walking paths to historical landmarks and museums, there is plenty to discover at a relaxed pace. The recently opened Museum of Macedonian Struggle adds a cultural highlight, while nearby destinations such as the Voras ski center and the thermal baths of Loutraki provide excellent day-trip options for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Casa Borboleta is designed as a peaceful haven where you can unwind after a day of exploration. The calm surroundings and small-city atmosphere make it especially appealing for those looking to escape the noise and crowds, while still enjoying access to meaningful experiences and local character.
For your comfort and a pleasant stay for all, we kindly ask guests to refrain from smoking indoors and to respect quiet hours between 15:00–17:30 and 23:00–07:00.
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00, with flexibility possible depending on availability. Self check-in and check-out are available, allowing for a smooth and independent arrival experience.
Whether you’re drawn by the natural beauty, the cultural richness, or simply the desire to slow down, Casa Borboleta offers a cozy and stylish base in one of northern Greece’s most distinctive destinations.
