“If you look for the silver lining… you will find it.” Pinkie Flamingo was a firm believer in being optimistic. Her nest was always half full…never half empty. As she landed on the roof top of the St Lucia Building at the iconic Silver Shells Resort she surveyed the sweeping panoramic views of the shoreline and the lagoon-shaped swimming pool below. The sunlight glittered off the emerald water and the gentle Gulf breeze blew playfully. Sunbathers relaxed on the pool deck below while others splashed under the cascading waterfall. A bubbling hot tub was the scene of some lively conversation and Pinkie understood why this resort was so popular…with so many sought-after amenities right on-site including the waterfall pool and a stellar location within a few minutes from area attractions like The Big Kahuna Water Park and The Track plus shopping, restaurants, and all that the Destin lifestyle has to offer.
With a graceful hop she was down and perched on the balcony rail of an inviting 2-bedroom little guest nest on the 6th floor. All this and right in the heart of the action in the world class destination known as Destin.
