Yellow Door House · Infinity Pool, Bay Views

On the other side of the yellow door, the sea welcomes you. The Yellow Door House is a private villa on the edge of Turtle Bay — designed and built by the hostess herself, an architect who has made it her home for three decades. Every detail was thought out by someone who lives and feels every corner: the infinity pool that merges with the bay, the outdoor spa among the tropical vegetation, the deck where contemplation takes place on full moon nights. Sea turtles pass by the pier. You will certainly see them every day. Mornings begin with birds in the garden. Afternoons call for the pool, where the horizon of the bay dissolves into the water. The sunset — different with each season — can be watched from inside the pool, from the hammock, or from the deck over the water. The evenings end at the outdoor spa, with the stars appearing above the palm trees. This isn't a house decorated to look like home. It is a home, open to those who know the difference.
