About this house rental
Welcome to Casa Vela, a cozy home base for exploring the Hudson Valley or for simply relaxing and spending time together. Just a five minute drive from Kingston’s historic Rondout district and a short drive to hiking and biking trails, you will have no shortage of options for dining, shopping, and outdoor activities. If you prefer to stay in and spend time together, enjoy cooking and dining in the modern kitchen or cookout on the grill and gather on the large sunny deck and fenced-in backyard.
The space
The entire home has been lovingly renovated from top to bottom, with modern design throughout. Downstairs you will find an open-concept space that connects the living room with piano and wood stove to the dining room with a handmade teak dining table to the kitchen. The large kitchen window and sliding glass door to the rear deck ensure the space is always flooded with fresh sunlight. Off the kitchen there is also a full washer and dryer and half bathroom.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and a fourth room that can function as an office or additional bedroom depending on your needs, as well as a full bathroom. Each bedroom has its own large closet.
The main bedroom has a king-sized bed, a dresser, and a closet with additional drawers. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a dresser and a tv. The third bedroom has a xl twin-sized bed with an additional xl twin-sized trundle pullout. It also has a tv and cabinet with drawers for clothes, books, or toys. The fourth room has an office desk (that can be folded up and put away), comfortable office chair, and a queen-sized murphy bed.
The upstairs bathroom features a double vanity sink with mirrors, a skylight, a shower with tub, and a state-of-the-art bidet toilet.
Guests have access to the entire space including a driveway that can fit four cars as well as off street parking.
In consideration of guests with allergies, we have a no pet policy.
