About this house rental
The creek is safe for swimming, with a mix of shallow and deep areas, most of the time, you can see all the way to the bottom. While there are fish in the water, there are no large animals or turtles to be concerned about.
In the winter months, the creek does not freeze over, so ice-skating isn't possible but the landscape remains stunning, and winter fishing is a peaceful and enjoyable option.
Our cozy country home is nestled in a beautiful, wooded setting where you’ll be surrounded by nature.
*Due to the home’s close proximity to the water, you may encounter small and large insects or house spiders. These are harmless and part of the natural charm of staying in such a serene, outdoor environment. We treat the property occasionally, but please let us know if you see anything out of the norm so we can address it.
It’s not uncommon to spot local wildlife such as deer, raccoons, and even the occasional moose. Please keep food securely stored, as animals may be drawn to any leftovers left outside. While hunting is not permitted on the property, you're welcome to explore the surrounding area—just keep in mind that the terrain can be steep, so appropriate footwear and caution are recommended.
**Please note that the property is shared with an RV, which is located on the opposite end of the land and is also another Vrbo rented space. The only shared areas are the creek and the parking path; otherwise, you’ll have your entire space to yourself!
