Cowshed near Normanby, North Yorkshire, sleeps four people in two bedrooms.
The Space:
Cowshed consists of an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, dining seating for four people, and sitting area with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) and twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is a rear patio with furniture, fire-pit, and barbecue, with off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 2.4 miles and pub in 1.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and hand towels inc. in rent. Cowshed is a lovely base for a North Yorkshire escape. Note: There are two steps down to the front door. Note: Cottage is on the A171, associated noise may be experienced. Note: This property has won an award for Best Accommodation in North Yorkshire. Note: Guests must bring their own bath towels, only hand towels will be provided.
The Neighborhood:
Flyingthorpe is a quaint village resting between Whitby and Scarborough. The village is known for its gorgeous countryside, historic sites, and close proximity to the North York Moors National Park, and offers a choice of attractions including the Robin Hood's Bay and Fylingdales Museum and the Fylingdales Inn, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby Thorpe Stores grocery store. Just outside of the village is the historic town of Whitby, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as Whitby Beach, Whitby Abbey, and the Dracula Experience.
