Cowshed consists of an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, dining seating for four people, and sitting area with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) and twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is a rear patio with furniture, fire-pit, and barbecue, with off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 2.4 miles and pub in 1.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and hand towels inc. in rent. Cowshed is a lovely base for a North Yorkshire escape. Note: There are two steps down to the front door. Note: Cottage is on the A171, associated noise may be experienced. Note: This property has won an award for Best Accommodation in North Yorkshire. Note: Guests must bring their own bath towels, only hand towels will be provided.

Flyingthorpe is a quaint village resting between Whitby and Scarborough. The village is known for its gorgeous countryside, historic sites, and close proximity to the North York Moors National Park, and offers a choice of attractions including the Robin Hood's Bay and Fylingdales Museum and the Fylingdales Inn, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby Thorpe Stores grocery store.
