The Neighborhood:
Located approximately two and a half miles inland from Perranporth, Goonhavern is a small Cornish village in a prime location in the heart of Poldark country, where Winston Graham lived in the 1930s. Goonhavern is a bustling neighbourhood featuring a historic inn, a general store, a garden centre, and a playground for kids. Many of the town's historic buildings, including pump houses, mining shafts and workers' cottages, have been let to deteriorate over the years. Perranporth, a nearby town, has a lovely sandy beach that stretches for three miles at low tide and is bordered by large, jagged rocks ideal for rock pooling.
