The Space:
Goose Whistle Hut, a single-storey shepherd's hut, consists of a double bed with a TV, kitchen with microwave, 2-ring hob, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, dining area with seating for two, and sitting area with a woodburning stove. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, WC. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with gravelled area, lawn, barbecue, fire pit, furniture, and off-road parking for one car (you will need to walk across grass to access the carpark, wellies could be beneficial particularly if wet. One small, well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.8 miles, pub 0.1 miles. All of this and so much more with a stay at the welcoming Goose Whistle Hut. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 100GBP. Note: There are four steps into the property from the exterior.

There are footpaths up the Old Wilts/Berks Canal, across local farms and through woodland. ideal for avid walkers and explorers. Foxham has a designated dog field, so your canine companions can stretch their legs before making your way to the pub for a refreshing drink. There is a Post Office and village shop in Christian Malford less than two miles away where you can stock up on the essentials, along with another welcoming pub. The market town of Chippenham rests just six miles away and has a fast train service to London and Bristol, and there is a wealth of things to do in the wider area, with the bustling cities of Bristol and Bath hosting an array of attractions. Close by is Bowood House and Gardens, with an adventure playground, making for an idyllic outing for all ages. Avebury and the Marlborough Downs, local museums such as the Wiltshire Museum in Devizes and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its picturesque towns, Malmesbury, Tetbury and Cirencester also make for lovely days out while staying in the area.
