Outside, Non-enclosed private patio area with patio furniture and designated off-road parking for one car, plus additional overflow car park. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5.9 miles, pub 0.1 miles, river 0.7 miles. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Enjoy a memorable escape to Lancashire at Ramblers Lodge. The Neighborhood:

Set in the beautiful Lyth Valley, the tiny hamlet of Bowland Bridge is a hidden gem, with a small scattering of houses and two renowned pubs surrounded by beautiful meadows, woods and Lakeland fells. At the heart of the Lyth Valley are the villages of Bowland Bridge, Crosthwaite and Underbarrow, all of which have roads leading to Kendal, a market town situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is within a short drive and boasts a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst its twin town Bowness offers boat trips to Ambleside and Lakeside, where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated. Within easy reach are Langdale, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top House at Sawrey, Grasmere, Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest Park, plus the town of Cartmel is a short drive away and has a Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant and a shop that sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful, unspoilt countryside, visit The National Hunt Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall with its spectacular gardens, all of which are close by.
