About this house rental
The bungalow is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that surround the home, allowing you to open the space to the ocean breeze or close it off for air-conditioned comfort. Upstairs, a king bedroom with ocean views and an ensuite half bath creates a peaceful retreat, while downstairs an open living area with twin trundle beds flows into a full bathroom with an ocean view. The home also features two outdoor showers and multiple areas to relax, read, or watch the sunset. Amenities include air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, cable TV, beach chairs, oversized towels, and complimentary daily housekeeping available upon request.
This is not a sealed, hotel-style environment, but a home immersed in its surroundings. While the bungalow offers comfort and protection, you may occasionally notice small wildlife typical of the tropics. Friendly geckos are part of the ecosystem — they live on the walls, make soft chirping sounds, and help keep the space mosquito-free. For those looking for something natural, calm, and genuinely unique, it offers a different kind of luxury.
The setting feels secluded, yet everything you need is close by. Restaurants, groceries, and essentials are within easy reach, and you are a short drive from Las Catalinas, Flamingo, Tamarindo, Playa Grande, and Avellanas.
Getting here is part of the experience. The final stretch includes driving and parking on sand, so a 4x4 is recommended. If you prefer not to drive on the beach, there is a public parking area at the entrance, approximately a four-minute walk from the bungalow.
Friendly beach dogs roam the area, and while they are part of the charm, we kindly ask that they are not allowed inside. No parties or outside guests are permitted, and the home is best suited for those seeking a quiet, nature-focused environment. This is a place for guests who value simplicity, design, and a true beachfront setting.
