About this house rental
Our comfortable "oasis of tranquility" is located on the outskirts of the "Am Seeweiher" vacation village—a small, idyllic community of vacation homes and residences on the "Seeweiher" reservoir in the Westerwald, right next to the forest.
Our vacation village is situated between Mengerskirchen and Waldernbach in the beautiful Westerwald!
We purchased this idyllic vacation home in early 2023 and are delighted to now offer it to you—now that the extensive renovation work is complete—for your personal getaway and relaxation.
We’ve paid special attention to providing high-quality, comfortable furnishings and a wide range of amenities. You’ll need to bring very little with you, as we’ve provided a selection of household items for your convenience (towels, bed linens, bath towels, dishwasher tablets, microfiber cloths, dish towels, paper towels, dish soap, liquid soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, iron and ironing board, clothesline for drying, laundry detergent, umbrella, trash bags, dog waste bags, etc.).
Since we’re dog lovers ourselves, a fully fenced, dog-friendly garden (approx. 600 square meters) was very important to us.
In our wonderfully bright sunroom (heated/with a fully automatic awning for shade), you can sit sheltered while surrounded by nature. We also have two terraces with very comfortable seating in the garden area.
Especially nice on warm, sunny days: our rustic wooden bench under our walnut tree, where you can sit in the shade surrounded by greenery.
If you’ve brought bicycles or other sports equipment with you, we’ve thought of you here, too. You’re welcome to store them safely in a weather-protected shelter on the property.
Through our large garden gate (at the back, facing the edge of the forest), you’ll step directly onto a paved path. From here, you can spend hours walking or hiking through the forest and across meadows! After about 100 meters, you’ll reach signposted hiking and biking trails (loop trails). Forest bathing begins right here on our property :-))
You’ll find shopping options (Edeka, Rewe) nearby, as well as various restaurants and delivery services (e.g., pizzeria, kebab, Croatian cuisine).
