George Rothwell, a Napa Valley icon, owns the entire home which includes your private apartment, and will be happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. Originally from New Jersey, George and his late wife, Alice, proprietors of Antique Fair in Yountville for 35 years, imported French antiques and relished their European travels. George founded Festival of Lights, held in Yountville each holiday season, the famed Napa Valley Mustard Festival, held from January through March, for 16 years. The celebration featured food, wine, art and entertainment, drawing an International audience to Napa Valley during the winter months. He was instrumental in pushing through a measure to fund a mammoth flood control project that now prevents flooding in Downtown Napa and other areas affected by the Napa River during heavy rains. George is a trumpet player and surrounds himself with fellow musicians, artists, longtime friends, and family.
