7 Periwinkle is such a delight! My husband and I made a last minute decision to spend a few days in Hilton Head and I’m so glad we found this wonderful property!The interior of the house has an adorable, cozy beach vibe that is super comfortable and inviting. The bathrooms all seem to have been renovated, so cleaning up after a beach day is enjoyable in these crisp clean bathrooms.The kitchen is well appointed with all the items you would need to bake, fry, broil, etc. … even a crockpot! We dined out each night, but imagined a big family preparing wonderful meals while gathering here.The outdoor area provides its own living area under the house, complete with a fun chair swing for watching the pool or reading a book, an outdoor sofa and chairs with a large outdoor tv. There’s a big table for outdoor dining under “party lights”. The pool was refreshing with it’s sunbathing shelf and it was partly shaded by the prettiest tree. We didn’t get around to using the firepit but next time we will:)The beach access is super easy, with Folly Field beach just steps away. The hosts are extremely attentive, just a message away. There was a slight issue with the pool filter, which they managed to resolve in about an hour. Super impressed!We’ll be returning with our adult children soon:)
