Large lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ (on request). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Rose Cottage 1 is close to the bustling coastal town of Whitby, famous for its abbey, Robin Hood’s Bay and the Heritage Coast. Over 200 years old, this stone-built terraced holiday cottage oozes charm and character. The property boasts a large lawned garden so that your canine companion can get a good run around, and when the weather is fine, why not have a barbecue?
Located in the quiet, rural hamlet of Sneaton, adjacent to the owner’s home, this property is ideal for exploring the Heritage Coast and the North York Moors National Park. The historic port of Whitby is a hive of activity throughout the year, with many festivals, miles of sandy beaches and cobbled streets lined with inns, tea rooms, antique and curio shops. Take a trip to Robin Hood’s Bay, which is a hotspot for artists, walkers and cyclists, or board the steam train and journey through the stunning Esk Valley. Beach 3 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub serving food 150 yards. Rose Cottage 1 can be booked together with Rose Cottage 2 (UK2038) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

The Cottage Was spotlessly clean, it was in a quiet area, but near to local amenities. 10mins away from Whitby (or thereabouts) Thanks for a lovely Holiday.

This isn’t our first stay in this cottage… it’s a clean and tidy cottage, has everything you need and is in a quiet area. It’s had a new door and furniture since our first stay.I would recommend it and would love to go back again.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage , it was lovely and clean had everything you needed for a stay away . In a good location within driving distance to Whitby or park and ride Close . We would definitely look at booking here again in the future .
