La Scaletta 103 Plebiscito & Metro in 1 min

For my last 2 days in Napoli, traveling solo, decided to stay in Chiaia and so glad I chose La Scaletta! Pietro was an amazing host and his flat is so special--newly renovated, very quiet, good Wifi, A/C, fully stocked kitchen, induction stovetop, espresso maker (Pietro got me hooked!), table and chairs, couch (foldout bed), steam iron and recycling bins. Beautiful bedroom with lovely balcony. Modern bathroom with blow dryer. Accessing the flat is a little Italian adventure! Pietro's instructions and directions were great, but as an American, I had no idea there were secret entrances, so once I got further instructions from Pietro, I was on my way. The address, Via Nicotera 103, is on a partially elevated street. Google Maps will show you exactly where it is, but if you ask for directions, it takes you to the main street, Via Chiaia, where you'll end up right next to a big building with a gate, right next to the Chiaia Metro. Directly above you'll see a big arch with a bridge and that is Via Nicotera. Go into the big building, walk straight back to the elevator, press #1 (or just take the stairs to the top). When you exit the elevator, you'll be on Via Nicotera, take a right and you'll soon come to 103, get keys from lock box, go through main gate, take a left and enter building through the main glass doors. To take the elevator, make sure you close all doors firmly or it won't go! The flat is directly opposite F. Rosa. If you google the address but not directions, you'll have a better view of Via Nicotera--a long street that can easily be accessed by other streets so you don't actually have to go into the big building, which is important to know as the gate closes at 9:45! So from Via Chiaia, turn onto Via Gradoni di Chiaia (full of restaurants and many people to guide you), left on Via Monteroduni and then you come to Via Nicotera.
