Terrazza dʼAlba - sea view rooftop, Ostuni center

Beautiful apartment located at the top of Ostuni. The apartment is located quite high up. One has to park the car outside of the ZTL area, and parking needs to be paid for. On arrival, we were told about the small APE cars, but were not told that the 3 minute ride would cost 25 Euros, which in my opinion is rather extortionate. The 7-8 minute walk up to the apartment with suitcases was not possible as it is very steep, and would have definitely been a struggle, so had no choice but to do the ape car. Also the driver does not help with luggage up the stairs, and there are quite some steep stairs leading up to the apartment, and with luggage is very difficult. The apartment is clean, and big bathroom and bedroom, and living space. There was a fridge / freezer, so we were able to buy food and enjoy lovely morning breakfasts up on the rooftop terrace. The kitchen is up around 7 steep stairs, and then the rooftop. Amenities were good, the water was hot, there was hair dryer with a diffuser attachment, great for curly hair, washing machine with tabs, dishwasher with tabs, olive oil left, salt/pepper, fully equipped kitchen enough for basic food preparation (There was not a kettle, but we improvised and used a pan on the cooker). A bottle of wine was placed in the fridge, coffee was available, but no tea or milk left. Supermarket is a drive away, nothing close by other than automated machines. The 2 bathrooms were very convenient. A/C was only in the living room, bedroooms did not have any. Fine for us as the weather wasn't too warm. Kitchen would be very warm of course. Alessandro was a great help, and provided some great food recommendations that happened to be a 30 second walk up some stairs, where some wonderful restaurants could be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner (we tried a few of them, and were impressed) 8-10 minute walk into the centre of ostuni.

The ape car and the cost, but that is not the fault of the apartment, but just good information for one to be aware of.

Very comfortable beds, good quality fixtures and some rooms lovely and bright

Beautiful place to stay in Ostuni with nice bathroom and huge terrace with view. The host is responsive and friendly to provide the information you need.

None. Only pay a little more attention of higher riser of the stone stairs.
