Central Brockenhurst Village Flat with Free Parking

Fantastic location - very close to the train station. Conveniently located for local restaurants and various walks. Good amenities including various streaming services (although not sure if this was just previous guests logged in!). I also really liked the decor, the stripes throughout and bedsheets were adorable! I know other reviewers have complained about the lack of bath towels, but fortunately we did not travel far and were able to bring our own so this didn't affect us.

1 toilet roll is not enough for a 4 day stay. I would expect at least 2. The floorboards in the flat above are very squeaky and audible throughout the day/night - I would recommend bringing heavy duty earplugs. I used these and was able to sleep; my partner only had light foam ones and struggled each night. The overall cleanliness of the flat was average - the toilet, mirrors and under the bed in particular could do with a deep clean. Also be advised that the heating is on a 2 hour timer, which you have to renew periodically if you want to keep it going. It was also initially programmed to only available between 5pm-early morning, but we were able to switch this off to use as and when necessary (e.g. there was a gale one day, which made it very cold in the flat by lunchtime even with the windows closed).

Great location, on the edge of the village, everything close but not noisy or busy. Great communication from the owner.

Quiet location, very convenient for the railway station, local shops and restaurants. A great base for our trips into Southampton and exploring the New Forest.
