Elegant 2-Bedroom CBD Apartment with Pool, Gym and City Views

The apartment is in a very convenient location and is a good size for 2-4 guests. The whole apartment, bathroom and linen were clean. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the kitchen is required to cook a bit if you need to (we did not). There are also great facilities in the building, we looked at them but did not use the pool etc, but they looked good.

You have to cross 2 busy streets and walk about 100m to get to the key collection which isn't too bad but just kind of a pain when it's late and you just want to go to bed. You only get one set of keys which could be a problem if you wanted to be more independent. The apartment is on a pretty busy street which can be a bit noisy, even on the 9th floor. It is North facing so both bedrooms get very bright in the morning despite blinds and curtains (small cracks can let in a lot of light). I would recommend bringing an eye mask if this could bother you. The apartment does need some basic maintenance such as affixing the toilet roll holder and hand towel holder to the wall properly. Some hooks on the back of the bathroom door would also be handy. I was a little disconcerted that the refundable damage deposit had to be transferred directly into the owner's personal account, but the money was returned to me the day of check-out, so it was fine.

Good location - easy walk to CBD & to transport options. Aldi close too for food & drinks. Host - regular & good communication. Unit tidy & secure & in complex with extra facilities.

The unit is in need of repairs and would benefit from some upgraded essentials like towels and tea towels. The kitchen is only really suitable for reheating things despite having a cook top and oven. The 3rd bed is a sofa which is not comfortable. I wasn't really a fan of having to walk up the street and across the road to get keys.

The location is excellent and convenient right in the CBD, making it very easy to get around by free tram or Uber. The apartment is spacious, clean, and great for a family. Special thanks to the host who was incredibly helpful and welcoming! They allowed us to check in early since the room was available, and kindly guided us to secure, nearby parking lots for overnight parking. Highly recommended!
