Amoreiras Garden - Cheese & Wine Apartments

Loved the location opposite a beach little park with a kiosk which was great and always buzzing with people and kids eating and drinking and relaxing. Also was great to be out of the main tourist area but with really easy access via the tram which went down the street outside the park and a bus stop and the metro a 5 min walk away. Lots of places to eat locally, a shopping centre and a supermarket 3 min walk from the apartment. Would definitely come back for the location.

The apartment had no opening window anywhere in it and so was quite stuffy. Unless you were prepared to sleep with the door open there was no way of getting any fresh air at night. Luckily it wasn’t too hot, but I can’t imagine what staying there is summer would be like as it has no air conditioning. It did have 3 good quality, quiet, floor fans provided though which was helpful and particularly needed after showering or it felt damp. Lastly there is no where on this actual site to leave your luggage and a late check out or early check in generally aren’t possible. Your bags can be left at their main staffed guesthouse in a different area. These apartments have no staff.
