The cottage was peaceful, felt very safe, and was quiet in the evenings, making it the perfect place to relax on the patio or by the fire pit. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed. The kitchen had great amenities, and the air conditioning was especially appreciated during the stay. Ample parking.
The local honey that was available to sample and purchase was a nice touch that added to the experience.
Great communication with the host.
As expected for a lakeside property, there were quite a few insects and bugs around (even spotted a skunk one evening), so packing bug spray isn’t a bad idea. It’s all part of the lakeside experience and completely understandable given the location, but something future guests may want to keep in mind.
