Mediterranean Haven

Absolutely. I’d keep it warm and positive, but make the feedback specific and fair. The location and character sound like the real strengths, while the shortcomings are things the hosts could genuinely fix. Mediterranean Haven, Paleokastritsa We had a lovely five-night stay at Mediterranean Haven. The location is fantastic, tucked away in a quaint and peaceful part of Paleokastritsa, yet less than a five-minute walk from beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities. It gave us the best of both worlds: quiet and private when we were at home, but incredibly convenient when we wanted to head out. The house itself is lovely and was exactly the kind of accommodation we were looking for: a beautifully renovated traditional village home that still retains plenty of character while offering modern comforts.

There were, however, a few things that we felt let the property down and could easily elevate the experience with some attention. Most significantly, we found the beds extremely hard and uncomfortable, which unfortunately affected our sleep during the stay. The kitchen was functional and had the basics, although some of the appliances and utensils felt quite basic or second-hand, such as the kettle and sandwich maker. We also felt some of the thoughtful extras you often find in holiday accommodation were missing, particularly for a five-night stay. Beach towels and umbrellas would have been wonderful given the location, as would additional bath towels. There was also no cleaning or refresh service during our stay, with cleaning only taking place between guests.

The home had everything we needed to feel completely comfortable, and the host was wonderful communication was clear, prompt, and helpful from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family getaway!
