Avalon Stays - Sunny Beach

This is an economy-class hotel with basic rooms, although our room with a kitchen felt more like a small flat, which was perfect for traveling with family. The room also had a washing machine, which was not mentioned on bookings. The location is great, within walking distance of the beach and close to bus stops, making it easy to get to the airport (when buses are not late). There is also a grocery store nearby. The host is kind, friendly, and speaks good English. Overall, it offers decent value for money, although I would not pay more.

Pay attention that there is no working reception desk, you have to call once you arrive, phone number and all necessary information was provided via booking messages after reservation was made. At the time of our stay, there were no catering or breakfast options available, and the hotel's restaurant appeared to have been closed for quite some time. There were few things that were broken in a room, such as the shower doors and the sofa bed. The TV was not working during our stay due to what we were told was a temporary issue with the cable service. The Wi-Fi was unstable and not suitable for remote work. The kitchen was missing some basic equipment, such as a kettle, and only included one pot and one frying pan. This would be an easy improvement for the hosts—adding a few more kitchen essentials, such as bowls, mugs, an extra pot, and another frying pan, would make a noticeable difference. Photos didn’t match the look of our room and balcony overlooked the building opposite rather than the pool as shown in the pictures. As for parking, I guess its pure luck to find parking place in the evening.

Everything was perfect. The landlord is absolutely friendly and flexible about our a requests. We enjoyed the holiday, it is very child-friendly.

We dont like the carpet in the room, and the water is came out from under the shower.
