Fresh start small breakfast cook and serve your self

It was nice having some basic food (cereal, milk, eggs, bread, noodles, etc.) to prepare ourselves while we were in the house. It definitely saved us some money on meals out during our visit. The property was a bit old, but clean and well-maintained, and in a convenient location within a couple miles of downtown and the university. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet.

The AC was pretty loud when it came on. It didn't bother me, but it did wake up my wife whenever it would come on, and made it difficult to listen to the TV when it was on. Also, it was very odd that we were not supposed to use toilet paper in the toilet. I have a medical condition that means I'm going to make more trips to sit in the restroom than the average person, and I didn't care for putting the soiled tissue in a wastebasket next to the toilet. I realize this is likely due to low pressure during the flush, but maybe it's time to get a new toilet with more water pressure?
