Kapaa Ocean View Condo Pono Kai Resort G206

Great pool, hot tub and activities! Great location on the beach and near restaurants and shopping.

It was a bit outdated and the room felt more like a motel than a condo. It was very hot and stuffy back in the bedroom. The ceiling fans didn’t seem to have different levels of operation, and we couldn’t really open the windows back there because it was on the sidewalk and had people Walking by. The astroturf walkways outside smelled of animal Urine. I also think there could have been more supplies stocked, like real hand soap, or Basic Kitchen items like cooking spray, spices, oils, etc.

The condo unit has been recently updated to a lovely and comfortable condition. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We were also delighted to find this unit had a fully unobstructed view of the beach from the balcony! The pictures had led us to believe it was only a side view. We also enjoyed the beachside walking and bike trail right out front!

The size of the pool and the hot tub were too small for the size of the resort. It was often too crowded to get in.
