Dorabella Cabin

Overall, it was a wonderful experience! We stayed 10 nights. The dining room table was a highlight for us, comfortably sitting all nine of our guests during a dinner. Loved the game room was complete with a small pool table that flipped over for air hockey and a great selection of board games and toys kids. The fireplace warmed up the space quickly. We couldn’t get the TV to work. While the living room was incredibly comfortable we we couldn't get the fireplace to work. It had some issues. It turned on by itself, so there might be a short. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of dishes and silverware, and the refrigerator was great. We did face some frustration with the stove, which would intermittently turn off. Thankfully, we were able to use the excellent BBQ, so we managed just fine. We loved the coffee setup, complete with hot chocolate and ample cream and sugar. The convenience of the washer and dryer was also a plus. The downstairs bathroom was great, and having two bathrooms was very helpful. However, the upstairs shower pointed directly out and couldn’t be adjusted, which meant standing in the cold while waiting for the water to heat up. Despite these minor issues, the upstairs was cozy with plenty of beds if needed. Plenty of pillows, extra blankets and towels. The best part of the house for us was undoubtedly the deck. It offered ample seating and comfortable chairs, and the fireplace was awesome! One thing to note is that while our kids visited, the outdoor space was primarily cement and no fence which meant there wasn't a safe yard for them to play in. This home is beautiful and well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with a few minor issues that should be addressed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!
