Fantastic location for exploring the Costa Brava, with an easy walk to the beach and the local supermarket. A few tourist restaurants within walking distance an three great chiringuitas on the beach. Beautiful spots like Pals and Begur are just a short 5-10 minute drive away. The beds were very comfortable, and the master bedroom is incredible, with spectacular sea views. There is a wonderful outdoor terrace for dining, complete with a lovely rattan sofa and armchairs, which is where we spent most of our time. The rooms did get quite hot, so the large fan in the master bedroom was a very welcome relief!

For a property sleeping eight, providing only three sunbeds felt a bit mean. The upper balcony off the master bedroom is fantastic with absolutely stunning views but currently have no furniture to sit and enjoy them. The pool sits next to a quiet-ish road where visitors park opposite and walk past the house, but with our car parked in the driveway we could make it more private. The separate annexe felt very basic compared to the main house and was very hot - it’s ground floor and advertised clearly as separate to the house but teenagers didn’t feel they wanted to sleep with windows open at night. A few kitchen issues: the dishwasher isn't full-sized as advertised and didn't clean well, the crockery and cutlery is all a bit dated . No microwave either. No in house washing machine - we didn’t need it, but there wasn’t one even if we had. hairdryers was listed too, but missing on arrival (supplied two days before we left), and the provided towels were an odd mix of very small and standard sizes. The listed BBQ is actually a cleaned-out open fireplace. Given Spain's severe fire warnings, we completely understood why it shouldn't be used, but the listing needs updating to reflect no BBQ.
