Pula Re Accomodation

We couldn’t have found a better homestay for our week on Vanua Levu! Meli’s warm welcome made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. His extensive professional background in tourism makes the difference, as he’s able to provide high-quality service at home and share many information on what to do around the village, how to get there, etc. Also he is an amazing cook, which was a much appreciated bonus 😋 The house is bright and spacious, very well maintained. Guests can enjoy their own floor with an indoor living room, a very comfortable bedroom, private bathroom and a large outdoor patio. As the house is located right by the main road, it’s easy to take the bus to go around. We liked it so much that we came back on our way from Taveuni to Viti Levu!

We were their first guests. It was a new experience for All of Us. Meals were excellent, healthy, and traditional. Farm walk and learning about village farming ways, planting, and harvesting, lovo celebration meal, Sunday church service with beautiful singing, cava socializing. Meli, Viliame, and SalaWai welcomed Us into their family and village.

Shower and bathroom need some fine-tuning (which was planned for after our departure).
