Khinalig Shaiq Guest House

I honestly cannot recommend Shaiq’s guesthouse highly enough. This is so much more than just a place to stay; it is a truly special experience that I will remember for a very long time. Shaiq and his family are some of the kindest, most generous and selfless people I have ever met. Their hospitality comes straight from the heart. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, comfortable and at home, treating you not just as a guest, but as a member of their family. Their warmth, genuine kindness and incredible generosity are what make this place truly exceptional. The accommodation itself is perfect: comfortable, clean and welcoming, with everything you could possibly need. The food is absolutely delicious, lovingly prepared and full of flavour. Every little detail contributes to making your stay wonderful, but it is the people who make this place truly extraordinary. What impressed me most was the genuine altruism of Shaiq and his family. They are always willing to help, share what they have and make sure you have the best possible experience. Their kindness is rare, and you can feel that they do everything with sincerity and a genuine desire to make people happy. This is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed. Not simply because of the accommodation or the food, but because of the incredible human experience. Places like this remind you why travelling is so special: it is about the people you meet, the connections you make and the memories you carry with you long after you leave. The only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer! If I didn't have a flight to catch, I would have stayed for much, much longer. Leaving was genuinely difficult because I felt so welcome and at home. If you are considering staying here, do yourself a favour and book it. You will find much more than a wonderful guesthouse: you will discover an incredibly welcoming family and experience a level of hospitality that is hard to put into words.

Saiq and his family were very welcoming and we felt like home at their guesthouse. Saiq picked us up from Quba and also drove us back to the bus station. We were able to have very delicious vegetarian food for dinner. Warmly recommended, thank you Saiq!

It was a bit cold in the room at first but the blankets were very warm.

Shaiq is a great host, and the little guest house was very comfortable. He gave instructions before our hike, offered dinner, and even brought us a little heater for the night. The next day he drove us back to Quba in his Lada car, stopping at spectacular locations. The view from the rooms of the guest house is fantastic, and even with heavy rain during the night, the room was really cozy.

Der Gastgeber war phänomenal, bester Service, in allen Bereichen! Er hat mit uns 2 geführte Touren gemacht, die Vollpension ( alles Essen homemade und organic) war sehr schmackhaft und viel zu viel. Sogar das Internet an diesem Ort war perfekt. Auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war perfekt!
