Pu Luong Roots Homestay

Very peaceful, beautifully located in the jungle with hikes and swimming spots in walking distance. Great food and motorcycle rentals to explore the area.

The family that runs this homestay, makes this homestay! The original family home is over 100 years old, but the bungalows are all new. Authentically basic, they do have super comfy beds and pillows. We did not want for anything during our stay- you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner on site. The Honestay also organised or transport to and from Mai Chau and Mua Cave as well as a full day motor cycle tour, which was just fabulous. If in Pu Luong, skip the tourist traps and stay here instead. Yes, it's not in the main hotel areas, but Pu Luong attractions are highly spread out anyways, so there is no disadvantage. The main family home is over 100 years old, but all accommodation is in purpose built new bungalows, using many traditional building techiques- great if you're looking for something more authentic. I would definitely stay here again. And for longer!

There was nothing not to like.
