Orchard Pod

The location and surroundings. The peace. Friendly family run business. The people I met were incredibly nice and welcoming. The nature. I saw so many beautiful birds and even a hare! The cats loved a little stroke. The walks. Cosy little pod with a comfy warm bed. Firepit was ready to go. I really didn't want to leave. I think I'll book up every month to help me de stress.

I think I would have liked a couple of bottles of water in the pod on arrival but this wasn't a big problem. The cats didn't come and visit me and that was very rude but the sheep were less shy.

It was just fabulous, its proper off grid, greatplace to relax in front of thefire pit. The bed was well lush, the hosts couldlnt do enough. If your after basic bed ot in the wild its brilliant, my dog loved it too. Will be back. Going to try Sheppards hut and hot tub next time.

Tranquil location, comfortable bed and pitch black in the Pod.

The pod itself was great, comfortable, clean and cool enough even after it was 30deg outside all day. The location is super remote and peaceful (as long as you don't mind sheep) Fire pit was just majestic, but bring your own kindling and ignition (lighter)

Absolutely zero communication from the host. I got one auto message upon booking, the information was out of date, the directions on the farm were poor, I had no reply to any email. . . . And despite the "please call us if you have any issue", I was stood outside the house, at 11pm and could hear the phone ringing inside #callforwarding A simple map of the farm and location of the pods would be a massive help, as the sign to Orchard Pod is about 30cm big and easily missed! Oh, and no door - at least on 2 of the pods - appears to lock. Yes, it's miles from anything. . . . But there's a sense of security and privacy needed
