Of all the places I stayed in Japan Hotel SHU was by far the most cozy and comfortable. The area the apartments were located felt very clean and modern. The room itself was well designed, creating a warm and welcoming feeling . It was a little more expensive than most other places I stayed but it was definitely worth it. I enjoyed just being in the room, reading or planning the next days activities. There was a nice little sofa next to a window which was relaxing to sit in. Fun little detail is the complimentary pyjamas that were provided were really cool and very comfortable, I would really want my own set just like them! The complimentary tea, dried fruits and voucher for a welcome drink at the Factory restaurant were much appreciated. While I did not have time to utilise the breakfast voucher (the opening time at the Factory restaurant was a bit too close to my ferry) I think this was also a nice addition as there are very few breakfast options available unless you make your own. The self check-in went very smooth with no trouble.

No interaction with the hotel hosts was a little sad but not the end of the world. Otherwise great place!

Gefallen hat uns alles, eine wunderschöne neu gebaute Hofanlage, die sich wunderbar in den Ortstypus einpasst, aber eine kompromisslose Modernität hat. Es duftet nach Holz, wenn man die Räume betritt, alles ist wunderschön gestaltet, sehr geschmackvoll. Die Betten sind gut, alles ist sehr sauber. Besonderes Highlight ist die gemeinsame Wohnküche, die alle Gäste benutzen dürfen. Man kann dort kochen und sich ein Frühstück machen. Es ist alles da. Leider waren wir am ersten Abend so müde , das wir den Code nicht gefunden haben und im Ort war es gar nicht einfach, überhaupt ein Restaurant zu finden.

Wenn man überhaupt was negatives finden kann, dann ist es vielleicht der Punkt, das alles als Self Service in der modernen digitalen Welt funktioniert, es fehlt uns Älteren etwas der persönliche Kontakt, daher war es sehr nett, am nächsten Morgen in die verbundene Factory zu gehen, ein beeindruckender Umbau einer Industriehalle mit Café-Lounge, ein mutiger Schritt auf dieser noch sehr ruhigen Insel, weldone!

Kamer is zeer ruim, erg mooi en van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn dat je van de wasmachines gebruik kan maken.

Communicatie over waar ontbijt plaatsvindt kan duidelijker.
