Central Düsseldorf Cozy 2-Bedroom Apartment with Kitchen

The apartment was clean. The bed and bathroom were fine, towels and linens as well. Didn't use the kitchen much, but the fridge and the kettle worked. There was a hairdryer. The building seemed quiet, we had no disturbances. Good logistics: train and underground stations nearby, also tram. City center is about a 40 minute walk away. Great park just a few minutes away.

Furniture is clearly old, as well as everything in the kitchen - feels like only the old and unwanted stuff was left there. The windows of both bedrooms face the street with the tram, so light sleepers won't be able to leave the window open for the night. A few small supermarkets in the area, but the district itself is mostly arabic, so no local places to eat around the apartment.

Die Lage war für uns super, da unsere Freunde eine Straße weiter wohnen und man direkt am Volksgarten und mit der U-Bahn nur 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt ist. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend.

Da es eine Altbauwohnung ist, sind die Fenster auch entsprechend älter und man hört die Straßenbahn schon recht stark, die genau vor der Haustür fährt. Viel mehr hat uns aber die nasse Wand im Flur der Wohnung gestört. Wenn man nicht alle Fenster geöffnet hatte, roch es sehr schnell muffig. Auch unsere gesamte Kleidung roch nach dem Aufenthalt so. Dieser Schaden sollte dringend behoben werden.
