The homestay is in a perfect location between the blend of the mountains and clouds, so rest assured you're going to get calm and best views throughout the day. Nalini was extremely helpful and took care of everything including the rental cabs and others. This is a must stay place if you're planning on a visit to Kodaikanal.

I just spent two days at Cloudwalks Homestay with my partner, and it was hands-down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We stayed in the Sunrise Room, and the name isn't just for show—the views are absolutely incredible. The room has these huge French windows that look right out onto the mountains. Waking up and seeing the sunrise over the peaks without even leaving the bed was a dream. If you’re a fan of a good view, this is the place to be. What we loved most was how quiet and peaceful the location is. It’s tucked away from the usual noise, so all you hear are the birds chirping. The garden is beautiful, too, filled with so many different flowers and plants that make the whole place feel like a hidden paradise. The Pizza: Surprisingly some of the best pizza I’ve had—crispy, fresh, and perfect for the chilly weather. must try and also their pasta was of good quality. the breakfast was south indian. so of you are from the north, you can ask for some north Indian dishes the day before so they can add it to the menu. we asked for alooparotta and they were kind enough to make it for us. The Service: They actually prepared some special items just for me that weren’t on the menu, which made us feel really taken care of. Since the Owner is from Odisha, she can fix some Machha Besaro.. imagine that, you can get authentic odiya food in the middle of tamilnadu. that made our day. The vibe is very simple, cozy, and welcoming. If you’re heading to Kodai and want a place that’s calm, beautiful, and has great food, definitely book this place. We’re already thinking about when we can go back! Kodaikanal has a taxi system that is confusing. so better contact the property for your travel arrangements. if you try to book cabs from the outside, you might get played. this is not limited to this place, but a general factor in kodaikanal. there are no 2 wheeler rentals hre.

A 10-Star Slice of Paradise in the Hills! If it were possible to give a 10-star rating, Cloudwalks Homestay would earn every single one. Tucked away in the misty, serene hills of Kodaikanal, this property is an absolute dream for any traveler seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating escape. The location is simply unmatched—a quiet, breathtaking retreat that truly makes you feel like you are walking among the clouds. What sets this homestay apart, however, is the unparalleled warmth and hospitality. Niroj and Raj are phenomenal hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel like family, the staff speak hindi, english, malayalam and tamil. but not all knows all the languages. its better if you ask for someone who can speak your language. The property itself is a visual treat, boasting a spectacularly curated garden. We found the garden in Cloudwalks better than the Kodaikanal Rose garden. And then there is the food— The homemade meals are fresh and well made. there is a home touch to it. even thought they have a cafe, its more like home cooked meals. which is a very nice thing. But the absolute showstopper is their authentic, wood-fired pizza. ive tasted only ar cloudwalks this good pizza outside Europe. i still cant beleive that this place has such good pizza. but keep in mind that they dont do pizza everyday. if you want you ahve to ask in advance. also since they dont precook anything, its better to order food in advance. Whether you are a solo traveler, a couple, or a family looking for a magical getaway, I cannot recommend Cloudwalks Homestay enough. It is not just a place to stay; it is a beautifully crafted experience you will cherish long after you leave.
