Marbella town can be reached by car in 15 minutes and the same goes for Fuengirola. La Mairena is a beautiful natural and peaceful surrounding but only 7 kilometres from the best beaches of Marbella and 15 minutes driving into Marbella town. It is a Unesco protected biosphere with great ecological importance as there is a native cork oak forest with beautiful trails full of wildlife like foxes, wild boar and deer.
